Stage Tots @ The ARC
Tuesday 5th November 2024 - Taster Session
This week’s ARC Stage Tots event was filled with laughter, learning, and a whole lot of farmyard fun! We held two lively sessions—one at 9:45 am and another at 11 am—where our little adventurers took part in a creative “Farm Adventure.” The energy was high, and the imaginations were even higher as our tots explored life on the farm!
Exploring the Farm Adventure
Our journey began with an exploration of the farm and all its delightful animal friends. Together, we spotted colourful creatures, from bright red chickens to very tall horses and even some muddy pigs! Of course, we couldn't resist joining in the muddy fun, hopping through imaginary puddles and learning to count to eight, just like we do in dance class. It was the perfect mix of movement and counting!
Singing, Dancing, and Farmyard Tunes
With every farm adventure, there has to be singing! We belted out favorites like “Old MacDonald” and a few seasonal tunes, filling the room with joyful music. Each song introduced new animal friends, keeping the excitement going and adding plenty of giggles to our morning.
Scarf Play and Shape Discovery
To spark even more creativity, we brought out colorful scarves for a little shape play. Our tots swirled, twisted, and waved their scarves, transforming them into all kinds of fun shapes. This activity let them experiment with movement, explore colours, and create magical shapes, all while using their imaginations to the fullest.
Taking a Bow
As always, no Stage Tots class is complete without our end-of-class bow! At the close of each session, our young performers proudly took their bows to the audience, receiving a well-deserved round of applause. What a perfect way to wrap up a fun-filled morning on the farm!
