October Camp 2023

Wow, what an incredible start to our first workshop for Swish Winchester! Over the course of two days, our young performers immersed themselves in the magical worlds of "The Little Mermaid" and "Matilda," and we couldn't be prouder of their hard work and enthusiasm.

The workshop was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to experience what Swish is all about. From singing and dancing to acting, the children embraced each activity with energy and creativity. It was a joy to see them bring these beloved stories to life, all while having a great time and making new friends along the way.

We kicked off with the enchanting "The Little Mermaid," where the kids explored the underwater adventures of Ariel and her friends. The songs were lively, the dances were full of grace, and the acting brought the characters to life in such a delightful way. The excitement was palpable as the children sang their hearts out and danced with joy.

Next, we dove into the spirited world of "Matilda." The children tapped into their inner Matildas and Miss Honey's, showcasing their acting chops with impressive confidence. The dances were energetic, and the songs were performed with such passion that it felt like we were on a West End stage!

Throughout the workshop, the children not only honed their performing arts skills but also developed essential qualities such as listening, communication, coordination, and confidence. It was a wonderful experience seeing them grow and support one another, forming bonds that will last well beyond these two days.
